Capitol Hoops -  First of all with all of the rumors going around about how you and Wally Judge will be transferring to Oak Hill next year , talk a little about why you chose to stay at Archbishop Carroll for your senior year?

Rodney -  " I decided to stay at Carroll because I wanted to represent the city in which I was born and raised Washington , DC. "

Capitol Hoops - You are coming off of a phenomenal season (All Met) as a junior ,but it look as if your game has improved even more , what are you doing physically to improve your game?

Rodney - "I've been working out at Number Ten in Washington DC with Arneef who is helping me with all of the aspects of my game. We have been focusing on my ball handling , shooting off the dribble and my defense you know , things that will take my game to the next level."

Capitol Hoops - The WCAC is one of the toughest conferences in the country , do you feel that you all have a legitimate shot of winning the title this upcoming season?

Rodney - "I believe we do. We are going to be underdogs after losing Kris Joseph to graduation (Syracuse) , but I am confident that we can get it done"

Capitol Hoops -  You verbally committed to Kansas State as a junior , why did you choose the Wildcats and the Big XI Conference?

Rodney - "The fans at Kansas State really showed me a lot of love when I visited the school. Mike Beasley and Bill Walker made me feel comfortable with the program and I felt that it was the best decision for me"

Capitol Hoops - DC Assault has produced numerous Divsion I and NBA players from of area , what is it like playing with Curtis Malone , Damon Hammond and the Assault organization?

Rodney - "I love playing with DC Assault , the staff is very nice and they care about us. We get to travel all over the country and play against the highest level of talent possible. They are the main reason why my game has improved so much since last year , because of all of the experience I have gained from them"

Capitol Hoops - When your basketball career is over how would you like to be remembered?

Rodney - "I want to be remembered as a guy that always played hard , never played soft and as a guy that always gave 110%"

Capitol Hoops - When you are not playing basketball what do you enjoy doing?

Rodney - "I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend , my friends and family when I am not working on my game"

Capitol Hoops - What is the reason for your success so far and who is your role model in life?

Rodney - "My success so far if largely due to my parents who are also my role models. My mother and father push me so hard to be the best that I can be as a basketball player and as a person. My dad works very hard putting in overtime for me and I believe that I must put in overtime if I am going to take my game to the next level"
